Saturday sport: Cork face Limerick in hurling, start of Tailteann Cup
It is a busy day at both ends of the Premier League table, while in GAA, the Tailteann Cup gets underway. It is also important day of action for the Irish provinces in the URC.
GAA
London got their first Championship win for 11 years with an opening victory in the Tailteann Cup today.
They got the better of Offaly by 2-20 to 0-12 in Tullamore this afternoon.
Elsewhere, there were wins for Sligo, Down and Fermanagh, who beat Wexford, Limerick and Wicklow respectively.
Meanwhile, it's Leitrim 0-9 Waterford 0-8 at half-time with Kildare 1-16 to 0-5 up on Longford.

The Leinster hurling championship experienced another shock this evening.
Carlow came back from the dead to record a 1-20 to 1-20 draw with Kilkenny at Netwatch Cullen Park
Dublin had no problems in their game with Antrim coming away from Parnell Park with a 3-32 to 1-18 win.
Limerick and Cork are renewing their rivalry in the Munster Hurling Championship this evening.
The All Ireland champions have travelled to Pairc Ui Chaoimh where they've just thrown in.
Soccer
Burnley have been relegated from the Premier League after a 2-1 loss at Tottenham.
Luton will almost certainly follow them into the Championship after being beaten 3-1 by West Ham.
Rob Edwards' side will be officially down if Nottingham Forest avoid defeat to Chelsea in the late game.
With 30 minutes to go, it's Forest 1-1 Chelsea.
At the other end of the table, Manchester City are closing in on a fourth consecutive title thanks to a 4-0 win at Fulham which took them top.
Crystal Palace secured a 3-1 victory away at Wolves, Brentford scored in stoppage time to edge Bournemouth 2-1, Newcastle and Brighton drew 1-1, while Everton got past bottom side Sheffield United 1-0.

Munster are seeking their first Interpro win of the season as they take on Connacht this evening.
It's Munster 28-12 Connacht with Conor Murray scoring the bonus point try.
And Ulster are up to sixth in the table after a 31-20 win away at the Scarlets.
