Bush fire brought under control in Cavan Town

Cavan County Fire Services brought a bush fire under control in Cavan Town last night.

The blaze broke out in an area at the rear of the Bramble Lane Estate on the Dublin Road, close to the Go Garage.

Two units of Cavan Fire Brigade attended the scene and brought the fire quickly under control. Members of the gardaí were also in attendance.

No injuries were reported.

Investigations are ongoing.
