Leona Maguire through as top seed in Vegas

Cavan's Leona Maguire sailed cruised through while the rest of the field in the third round of the T-Mobile Match Play at Las Vegas struggled to advance out of stroke.

The Ballyconnell sensation will face Thailand's Moriya Jutanugarn when the competition switches to a single-elimination match play format over the weekend.

Maguire recovered admirably from a bogey on the second hole with four birdies and no bogeys the rest of the round for a three-under-par 69 on Friday.

It left her at six-under 210 for the tournament at Shadow Creek Golf Course.
