Maudabawn family to feature on RTE's Raised by the Village

A farming family from Maudabawn is set to feature on the popular RTE programme 'Raised by the Village' this Sunday night, April 7.

The return of the popular series on March 24, features two urban families who need major help with a teenager veering-off-the-rails, and taking drastic steps to get it.

Sophia is a teenager who is trading long-lashes and even longer lie-ins for a phone-free-life of muddy toil at the Morris family’s dairy farm in Maudabawn.

Faced with a digital detox and mandatory mucking-in, it will be determined this weekend if the experience helped to motivate the tetchy teen who swapped the urban life for tranquility in rural Co Cavan.
