Neven to help Virginia raise dough

Get ready to spice up your culinary skills, and tickle your taste buds, because a cookery extravaganza is coming to Virginia College.

Cavan’s very own Neven Maguire is making an appearance for a cooking demonstration, food fair, and raffle in the school.

A world-renowned and admired chef from Blacklion, in West Cavan, Neven believes that cooking is all about using the best local, seasonal, and Irish ingredients.

The state of the art gym in Virginia College, Cavan is the venue for this fundraising event, on Tuesday, March 19. The doors will open at 7pm.

Tickets cost €20 each and can be bought through a link on the Virginia College Facebook page, or the website EventBrite, by searching, ‘Cookery Demo with Neven Maguire, in aid of Virginia College'.

In addition to the fantastic cooking demonstration, a host of local producers will bring their own marvellous produce to showcase at this event.

Lastly, refreshments will be served on the night, the school community would like to give a massive thank you to the Parents Association, and the staff members, and students in Virginia College who helped to organise the event, along with the local producers who sponsored prizes for the raffle.
