Amatino Accountants and Business Advisors is a progressive firm with offices in Cavan, Monaghan town, Carrickmacross and Dublin. The company provides accounting, tax and advisory services. Established in 1993, Amatino is one of the largest Certified Public Accountancy (CPA) firms in the North East. The firm has six directors, one associate director and employs up to 50 staff in its four offices - with women in key roles at all levels in the company.
Amatino is also a registered training firm with all the major accounting bodies. It has trained some staff members from the time they left school leading to them qualifying as accountants. The achievement is down to the company’s guidance and expert tuition all of which is in association with local third level institutes.
Amatino Accountants and Business Advisors is very proud of its staff, many of whom have achieved some of the highest marks in their exam results. Most noatable is staff member, Angela Hewitt, who was placed first in the world in one of her final exams. The company also boasts a number of staff who have achieved first place in Ireland in their exams.
Linda Scott is one of the directors in Amatino Accountants and Business Consultants. A certified public accountant and registered tax consultant, Linda specialises in accounts, audit compliance and taxation services. “We are very proud of our staff and our service,” she told the Celt.
“We are committed to offering the highest quality, cost effective services to our clients. Our team of accountants work with businesses across many different sectors from new business startups, professional services, manufacturing, engineering, consultancy, food production, retail, hospitality, tourism and agricultural businesses,” said Linda.
Meanwhile, the directors at Amatino value the contribution their staff make to the firm. As well as offering competitive packages, the company also provides a number of employee benefits to staff. Each year the firm holds an ‘Amatino Staff Appreciation Day’ that is led by the directors where staff from the four Amatino offices gather together.
On the day ‘Staff Service Awards’ are also presented in recognition of the dedication for five, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years of service. The most recent recipients include Irene Harkness (20 years); Susan Smith (five years) and Lisa Hughes (five years).
