Ladies lunch for great cause

Yanna’s 4 Leaf Clover, along with Deirdre Donnelly from Crossdoney are organising a Ladies Lunch on February 25 in the Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva.

The event aims to help raise funds for Yanna Hartin (19) who is a member of Gowna LGFA and a valued member of the Gowna community.

Yanna sustained life-changing injuries in an accident on her way to her summer job in the Farnham Estate Hotel, Cavan.

Yanna is the daughter of Gavin and Lukia Hartin. To support Yanna in her recovery, the local community established ‘Yanna’s 4 Leaf Clover’ (Love, Luck, Hope and Faith) to raise money to support Yanna by removing barriers in her return to independent community involvement.

Yanna’s immediate and medium-term requirements include suitable adapted accommodation and transport needs, ongoing medical treatment including innovative treatments at home and abroad, together with necessary equipment, training, physiotherapy, and support care needs.

The organisers are asking all ladies in the surrounding communities to come out and support Yanna on February 25 for the Ladies Lunch in the Breffni Arms Hotel Arva, 2-5pm.

The afternoon will showcase some skincare items, make-up demonstration, hair tutorial, fashion show and much more.

There will be a prize for the best dressed lady. Fantastic spot prizes to be won also.
