Evelyn Cassidy

(née Coote)

Fintavin, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

The death has occurred of Evelyn Harriet Cassidy nee Coote, in her 99th year, in the wonderful care of the staff at Sheelin Nursing Home, Mountnugent and formally of Fintavin, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan on Thursday 25th January 2024.

Predeceased by her husband Charles, daughters Veronica and Evelyn, sons-in-law Tom and Charles, daughter-in-law Christine and grandson David.

Much loved mother of Olive, Jimmy, Robert (Florence), George and Alice. Adored by her 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, son-in-law, Edgar, sister-in-law Pam, her many nieces and nephews, neighbours and friends.

Kevin Fitzpatrick

Latsey, Canningstown, Cavan

Kevin Fitzpatrick, Coventry U.K and formerly of Latsey, Canningstown, Co. Cavan, passed away at home in Coventry, on Saturday, 13th January, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his father Ben, mother Minnie and brothers Raymond & Bernard.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Andrina, daughter Patricia (Daniel), son Kevin, grandchildren Coragh and Sean, his brothers Noel (Doris), Sean (Eileen), Aidan and Leonard, sisters Maura, Geraldine (Seamus), Patricia (Vincent), uncle and aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Funeral to arrive at St. Brigid's Church, Knockbride West (Tunnyduff), on Wednesday, 7th of February, at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday, 8th February, at 11am with burial afterwards in The Church of Mary Immaculate Cemetery, Virginia. Kevin's funeral can be viewed via the Live Stream. Helen Leddy

Dingins, Corlismore, Cavan

Leddy, Helen, Dingins, Corlismore, Cavan, Thurs, 25th Jan, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her sister Mary, her brother Mick, recently her brother Vincent and more recently by her brother James, Deeply regretted by her two sisters Nuala and Julia, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, brothers-in-law, extended family and many good friends and neighbours.

Rest in Peace

Removal of her remains to arrive at the Church of the Holy Family, Loch Gowna (H12 FT54) on Fri 26th Jan for 6pm. Helen's funeral mass will take place on Saturday, 27th Jan., at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

James (Seamus) SHERIDAN

Lucan, Dublin / Finea, Cavan

SHERIDAN, James (Seamus) (Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Finea, Co. Cavan) January 23rd, 2024, peacefully, surrounded by his family at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Josephine, son, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Lucan on Friday evening (26th January) from 6pm to 8pm.

Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Lucan on Saturday morning arriving for Requiem Mass at 10am followed by burial in Esker Lawn Cemetery, Lucan.

The death has occurred of Sean Cathal Pio Bradley, Durham, England and formerly of Ballybay, Co. Monaghan.

Sean's funeral Mass and cremation will take place on the 30th January 2024 in England.

There will be a funeral Mass and interment of ashes in Saint Patrick's Church, Ballybay, at a later date.

May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

The death has occurred of Michael (Mickey) Connolly, Lower Millbrook, Clones, Co. Monaghan,(H23CK61), suddenly and unexpectedly, in Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family, Thursday 25th January 2024. Predeceased by his parents James and Josephine, his brothers Jim, Vincent and Sean and his nephew JJ.

Beloved husband of Helen and adored father of Colm (Kathy), Kieran (Geraldine) and Michelle (Phillip Mc Glone). Mickey will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, sons, daughter and their partners, much loved grandchildren Conor, Ryan, Emma, Darragh, Beth, Oisín and Orlaith, sisters Mary (d'Estelle-Roe) and Dympna (MacKenna), brothers Paul, Martin, Gerard and Pat, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Mickey.

Mickey will repose at the family home Lower Millbrook, Clones (H23 CK61), Co. Monaghan, tomorrow, Friday, from 11am with removal on Saturday morning (27th) at 10.30am to the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery, Clones. Family flowers only please. Please note there will be funeral car Parking at Clones GAA Grounds.

Blackwater Vale, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Pat Mohan, Blackwater Vale, Monaghan, 25th January, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the Mater Private Hospital. Predeceased by his daughter Grainne & brothers Eugene and Liam.

Pat will be fondly remembered by his wife Anna, his children Fergal, Ronan & Garret. his adored grandchildren Patrick, Genevieve & Lorcan, his sisters Ellen Deeney, & Mary Hanratty and his brother Frank, sister in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Pat's funeral procession will arrive to St Macartan's Cathedral for 2pm funeral mass, Saturday evening (27th) with burial afterwards alongside his daughter Grainne in Latlurcan Cemetery.
