This morning will be mainly dry with some sunny spells. Rain will develop in the west and southwest around noon and will spread eastwards through the afternoon and evening, becoming heavy at times. Highest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees with freshening south to southeast winds.
Early tonight, rain will continue to move northeastwards, mainly affecting Leinster and Ulster. It will clear to the northeast with clear spells and scattered showers following. Moderate to fresh south to southeast winds will become southerly and ease as rain clears. Lowest temperatures 3 to 7 degrees.
Tuesday will be mostly cloudy with a fair amount of dry weather and a few showers, these mainly in the morning. Some bright or sunny intervals will develop. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees with light, variable breezes.
Widespread outbreaks of rain will persist overnight with some mist too. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 8 degrees in light to moderate variable breezes.
Mostly dry on Wednesday with some spells of sunshine, and light variable breezes. Cool with highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees.
Thursday will most likely be cloudy with outbreaks of rain or drizzle spreading eastwards through the day, possibly drying up later on. Highest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees, with mostly light westerly winds.
