The death has occurred of Robert (Robbie) Grimes, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan. Formerly of Swords and Santry, Dublin.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden death of our cherished Robbie. Beloved husband of Elaine, loving father to Amy, Katie and Ciaran. Dearly loved son of Jimmy and the late Anne, and much loved brother of Susan, Annette, Jennifer and James. Sadly missed by his sons in law, Stephen and Ian, all the Grimes and McGrane family, brothers in law, sisters in law, relatives, many friends and colleagues.

Reposing at Matthew’s funeral home, Virginia (A82YV58) on Wednesday the 29th of November from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral mass in St. Joseph’s church, Ballyjamesduff at 11am on Thursday followed by cremation in Lakeland’s Crematorium (H12 RF78) at 1pm.

Larry Masterson, Drumroe, Cornafean, Co Cavan, Sunday, November 26th, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Esker Lodge Nursing Home, Cavan. Sadly missed by his loving nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and many friends.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Thursday evening from 6.00pm until 7.00pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10.30am to the Church of Immaculate Conception, Coronea, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Portaferry, Down / Carrickmacross, Monaghan / Cork City, Cork / Dublin
Tomelty (Portaferry) Died 26th November 2023, suddenly. Gertie, dearly loved wife of the late Peter, loving mother of Susan and Peter and much loved gran of Flynn and Jessica and late of Castle Street, Portaferry. Funeral will leave the funeral home on Wednesday 29th November at 10.30am to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyphilip for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in adjoining graveyard. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her family, extended family circle and friends.
