Gavin Denning

The death has occurred of Gavin Denning, Annaharnett, Virginia, Co. Cavan, 20 November 2023. Predeceased by his sisters Joyce and Sophie and recently his grandmother Vera. Much loved son of Oliver and Josie and loved brother of Pauric (Laura), Maria and Sinéad (Bernie). Sadly missed by his parents, brother, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Remains reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Wednesday evening from 5 o'clock until prayers at 8 o'clock. Removal to St. Mary's Church, Cross on Thursday morning, arriving for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in St. Ultan's Cemetery, Killinkere.

(née McCabe)

Clonee, Meath / Loch Gowna, Cavan / Dring, Longford

Kate Feeney (née McCabe) Clonee, Co. Meath, Loch Gowna, Co. Cavan and formerly Aughanoran, Dring, Co. Longford – November 19th 2023, Suddenly but peacefully at James Connolly Memorial Hospital Blanchardstown, surrounded by her partner, brother and sisters. Predeceased by her husband Gerard, parents Tom and Annie, infant brother Thomas and sisters Josie and Annamaye. Sadly missed by her partner Bill, brother Jim, sisters Margaret, Sadie, Mary and Bernie, her nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law Tom, Joe and Michael and their families and all of her dancing friends.

Reposing at Cunningham’s Funeral Home, Dunboyne on Wednesday evening (22nd November) from 5pm to 8pm. Removal to S.S. Peter and Paul’s Church, Dunboyne on Thursday morning (23rd November) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Rooske Cemetery. Eamon Keogh, Blackwater House, Monaghan and Tonylion, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan. Tuesday, November 21st (peacefully) at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Willie & Annie and brother Frank. Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck on Wednesday evening from 6pm to 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday in St. Patrick's Church, Kilnaleck at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Drumkilly.

The death has occurred of Kathleen Byrne (née Dooley), Momoney, Inniskeen, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully in her 95th year surrounded by her loving family at The Louth County Hospistal, Dundalk, Tuesday 21st November 2023. Predeceased by her husband Jim, her parents John and Annie, sisters Mary (McMahon) and Anna (McGeough). Sadly missed and remembered with love by her sons Anthony, Paul and Fintan, daughters Ann and Joan, son-in-law Andy, daughter-in-law Denise, Ann’s partner Michael, Paul’s partner Helen, grandchildren Felicia, Alanna, Alex, Gemma, Kayleigh, Justin, Dean, Abbie, Calvin, Wayne, Leon, Breeona, Caithlin and Jeanie Rose, great-granddaughter Eliza, sister Joan (McDonnell), brother-in-law John, sister-in-law Betty Breen, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death occurred of Maura Beggan (nee Broomfield), Clonkeencole, Clones, Co. Monaghan, and formerly of Tullaghanbawn, Mayo, Monday, 20th November, peacefully in the excellent care of the staff of the Drumlin Unit, St. Mary's Nursing Home, Castleblayney. Predeceased by her sisters Julie, Beatrice Gaughan, Ivy Harvey, and Ann Monaghan and her brothers Thomas and Patrick.

Beloved wife of John and loving mother of Joseph (partner Elizabeth Wood) and Julie (husband Dan Doherty) and adored grandma of Orla. Maura will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband, daughter, son and their partners, granddaughter Orla, sisters Katie Mc Gee, Winnie Murphy, Maggie Callahan and Bernadette Christian (Sisters all living in Scotland), nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Maura..

Maura will repose at the Martin's Family Room, Newbliss, H18C962 Thursday evening (23rd) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal from Martin's family Room Friday morning at 10.40am to the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Michael (Mickey) McCrudden, Ealing, London and formerly Lattycrum, Loughmourne, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan, on the 18th November 2023, Age 79 years, peacefully in the excellent care of the nurses and staff of Meadow House Hospice, Ealing.

Predeceased by his parents Mick & Alice and his brothers James and Bennie.

Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his nephew Benny, his niece Eilish and extended family Andrea, Ben, Emma & Brian, his cousins and his many very good friends both in Ealing and Aughnamullen.

The death has occurred of Vera McMahon (nee Croarkin), Tullyshelferty, Dunraymond, Co. Monaghan Monday 20th of November peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her heartbroken family. Predeceased by her husband Owenie, sister Kathleen, brothers Seamus & Packie and granddaughter Clodagh. Vera will be missed and remembered with love by her sons Patrick (Imelda), Eugene (Jenny), Micheal (Elizabeth), daughters Mary (Seamus), Martina (Brendan), Jennifer (Michael), and Catriona (Damien). Her brother Michael Croarkin and sister Josie Smyth. Vera will be fondly remembered by her 19 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers in law, sisters in law, extended family and her many friends.

Vera will repose at her home (H18 RK28) today Tuesday 21st from 4pm until 10pm & Wednesday 22nd from 2pm until 9pm. Vera will leave her home on Thursday morning (23rd) at 10am approx to arrive at St Michaels Church, Corcaghan for 11am Funeral Mass, followed by burial alongside her husband in adjoining cemetery. House private Thursday morning please.

Peacefully at home. Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Kathleen, her sisters Helen, Jean and Bernie and her brother Tommy. Sadly missed by her loving husband Anthony, her brothers Patrick, Cathal, Michael, Maurice and Martin, her sisters Colette, Concepta, Roisin and Maeve, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
