Mary Mc Dowell, Carraig Beag, Drumalee, Cavan and formerly Tullacmongan and St. Bridget's Tce, Cavan Town. Predeceased by her parents John and Maureen Mc Dowell. November 14th 2023, peacefully after a long illness borne with grace and dignity and in the loving care of all those close to her. Beloved and adoring mother and best friend of Orla. Mary will be very sadly missed and so dearly loved by her heartbroken daughter and her partner Paul, her adored grandchildren, Cian and Ava, her family Caroline, Margaret, Fran, Lorraine, Madeline, John and their partners, nephews, nieces, all her former colleagues, relatives and many friends.

Removal on Friday morning to the Cathedral of Ss Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Following Mass, a private cremation will take place. The death has occurred of Mary Anne (Maisie) O’Reilly (nee Carolan), Killann, Shercock, Co.Cavan (formerly Lakeland, Tunnyduff), Monday, November 13th, 2023. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family and in the exceptional care of the wonderful staff of Virginia Primary Care Centre, in her 93rd year. Loving wife of the late George, pre-deceased by her infant daughter Marie-Therese and her grandsons Aaron and Fionán. She will be sadly missed by her children Celine, Bernadette, Oliver, Angela, Imelda and Gerard, her sons-in-law, Gerry, Brian, Paul & John, daughter-in-law Colette, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing in Clarkes Funeral Home, Lower Main Street, Bailieborough, Co. Cavan on Wednesday, 15th November, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Deeply regretted by her husband Pat, sister Breda, brother John (Tess), sisters in law Kathleen and Dympna, brother in law Tom, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. Rest In Peace

Bernie Nelson, (nee Flanagan), Latnadrona, Crosserlough, Co. Cavan. Monday, November 13th (peacefully) surrounded by her loving family. Loved wife of Jimmy, much loved mother of Emma, Níamh and Líam, son in law Darren, dearly loved sister of Marie, Nuala and Patricia. Sadly missed and always loved by her heartbroken family, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, kind neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

SMYTH Bernard ("Horse"), (Navan Road, Dublin 7 and formerly of Mullagh, Co. Cavan) November 12th 2023 (suddenly but peacefully) at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Beloved husband of the late Margaret, cherished father of Peter, Jennifer, Jackie and Andrew, devoted grandfather of Molly, Derry, Maisy, Fionn, Jacob, Ben and Sadbh and dear brother of Rose, Anna, Peggy, Billy, Paddy and the late Phil, Josie, Mary and Bridie. Sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Andrew O and Jeremy, daughter-in-law Erica, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace.

Loving dad to Ronan, Aislinn and Ciarán. Adored and much loved grandad to Dawn, Kelly, Isaac, Kyle, Ethan and Reuben. Paula Drinan (née McGahey), Gaybrook Park, Gaybrook, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly Ballybay, Co Monaghan, passed away (peacefully) on the 13th November, in the excellent care of Brother John and the nurses and staff of St Camillus Nursing Centre, Killucan, with her devoted sons James and Shaun by her side. Pre-deceased by her husband James, parents Patrick and Cissie (Mary), sisters Kathleen and Mary, brother John and nephew Michael. She will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her sons James and Shaun, daughter-in-law Colette, her cherished grandchildren Shauna, Michael and Ellie, brother-in-law Aidan Drinan (Cork), nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, wonderful neighbours and many friends. Formerly of Tullybryan, Monaghan. Kate died on Sunday 12th November, 2023 at her home, after an illness bravely borne, with her dearly loved family by her side. Predeceased by her parents Molly and James-Patrick and sister-in-law Rose-Mary. Kate will be sadly missed and always remembered by her heartbroken family, her husband Liam, her adored daughters Nessa and Cayleigh, sisters Mary McCaffrey, Eileen and Ann, brothers Mick, Pat, Paul and Gene, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and her many dear friends.
