Flooding possible as heavy rain continues today

This morning, rain will continue in Ulster with localised flooding. A drier start elsewhere with mist and fog in places, gradually clearer. Rain will develop in the southwest in the late morning and spread northeastwards through the afternoon and evening with a chance of spot flooding. Highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees with light to moderate southeasterly winds, fresher in the west and southwest.
A wet night with widespread rain, with spot flooding possible. Lowest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with moderate to fresh south to southeast winds.
Wednesday will start off dull with rain and squally showers in many areas. It will be quite blustery for a time as the squally showers will be accompanied by fresh to strong and gusty westerly winds. The rain will gradually clear northwards through the day, with winds easing also. Sunshine and scattered showers will follow from the south. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees.
