Sean McKenna

Sean McKenna - October 21st 2023

Kilraine, Glenties, Co. Donegal and formerly of Milltown, Belturbet, Co. Cavan.

Retired Garda Sergeant Ardara & Glenties, Co. Donegal.

Peacefully at home, following a long illness, surrounded by his loving family.

Dearly loved husband of Rosaleen (nee Mc Mullin) and father of Tracy, John and Louise.

He will be sadly missed and forever loved by his wife, daughters, son, brother Declan and sister-in-law Elaine; his cherished grandchildren Conleith, Oran, Caolan and Riaghan; daughter-in-law Karen; sons-in-law Jonathan and Daithi; and extended family and friends.

Sean’s remains will repose at his home on Monday, 23rd October, from 2pm until 9pm and on Tuesday, 24th October, from 12 noon until 9pm. Requiem Mass in St. Connell's Church, Glenties, on Wednesday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Clar Cemetery, Donegal Town. House private to family on the morning of the funeral. Bella Pringle

(née Rountree)

Institute Road, Bailieborough, Cavan

Bella Pringle née Rountree, Institute Road, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on the 23rd October 2023 peacefully at her residence. Predeceased by her husband Hammie.

Deeply regretted by her loving family Albert (Sandra), Isobel (James), Ivor (Ada), Raymond (Mary), Kenneth (Rachael), Barbara (Enda), her sister Lily, grandchildren and great grandchildren, sister-in-law Gretta, nieces, nephews, relatives and large circle of friends.

Reposing at her residence on Tuesday 24th October from 4pm - 8pm. Removal from her residence on Wednesday 25th October to arrive at Bailieborough Parish Church for Funeral Service at 2pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining graveyard.

Kathleen Callan

(née McCabe)

Corcuillogue, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Kathleen Callan (née McCabe). Corcuillogue, Carrickmacross & formerly Dundrockan, Donaghmoyne & Cloughvalley, Carrickmacross. 23rd October 2023. Peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family, at the Louth County Hospital, Dundalk.

Predeceased by her husband Joe, her sons Brian & Eugene, her parents Thomas & Kate, her brothers Eugene, Teddy, Patsy & Tommy, her sister May, her son-in-law John and her daughter-in-law Wim.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family; her daughter Margaret (McGing, Westport), her sons Thomas, PJ (Dublin) & Michael (Malaysia), her daughters-in-law Roseanne, Rosaleen and Yet Lai, her treasured grandchildren; Gerry, Mark, Damien, Patrick, Melissa, Stephen, Aisling, David & Jennifer and her great-grandchildren; Laura, Juan, James, Isla, Cara, Fia, Emily & Isabelle, her nephews, nieces, relatives, friends & neighbours.

The death has occurred of Margaret Daly née Mohan formerly of Shane, Tullynahinera, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Monday 23rd October 2023 peacefully, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents, Mary and Peter, sister, Mary, brothers, Tommy, Michael (Mac), and Peter, and her husband.

Deeply regretted and lovingly missed by her children Val (Maeve), Michael, Pat (Diane), Maura (Ciaran), Mairead, Mark (Suzanne) and Gabriel (Michelle), grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Olive Mohan, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and many friends.

Margaret will repose at her daughter Maura Branigan’s home, Lismagunshion, Annyalla, Castleblayney (A75 T688) on Tuesday from 4 pm until removal on Thursday morning at 10 am arriving to the Sacred Heart Church, Lough Egish for requiem mass at 11 am. Burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery.

House private on Thursday morning please.

The death has occurred of Jenny Drew nee Convery, Beaghkearns, Monaghan, H18 TP26, Saturday 21st October, tragically following an accident.

Predeceased by her parents Michael & Eileen.

Jenny will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Matt, her daughter Karen, son Barry, son in law Anthony, her sister Mary and extended family and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Jenny's remains will repose at her residence from 5pm on Tuesday until removal on Thursday morning to arrive at St. Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan for Funeral Mass at 11am. Cremation will take place later at Lakeland's Crematorium, Cavan.

Paddy (Patrick) Duffy

The death has occurred of Paddy (Patrick) Duffy. Drummond Etra, Carrickmacross. 23rd October 2023. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, following a short illness at Beaumont Hospital Dublin.

Predeceased by his parents John & Peggy and his sister Mary.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family; his wife Maeve, his sons John, Andrew & Alan and his daughter Lisa, his daughters-in-law Audrey, Sabrina & Danielle and his son-in-law Ronan, his much-loved grandchildren; Stephen, Maisie, Tadhg, Eabha, Oisín, Rían, Aiden & Ciara-Lilly, his brothers Mick & Paul, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his godson Adam, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends & neighbours.

Paddy will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Wednesday, 25th October, from 4pm until 8pm. Paddy's funeral cortège will leave his home, Drummond Etra, on Thursday, 26th October, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
