Status yellow weather warning issued for Cavan
Met Éireann are warning of flooding and dangerous road conditions
A status yellow rainfall warning has been put in place in Cavan between 11am today and 8pm this evening.
Met Éireann issued the warning stating that the heavy rainfall is likely to cause “localised flooding, reduced visibility and dangerous road conditions”.
The warning is also in place in Monaghan, Donegal and all of Leinster.
The warning issued also states that “spells of rain will be heavy at times,” with “Strong and gusty east to southeast winds at times.
A separate rainfall warning has been issued for Clare, Limerick, Tipperary and all of Connacht between 11am today and 6pm tomorrow evening.
