John Donnelly
Arva, Cavan / Longford
John, passed away peacefully on 14th October 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Bridget, his infant brother Michael, his sister Mary, brothers in law Danny, Tony and Paddy.
John will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his family, wife Alice, daughters Rosemarie, Oona, Eimear and son Sean, sister Angela, his much-adored grandchildren Lauren, Alan, Barry, Ronan and Evanne, daughter in law Claire, sons in law Seamus and Gerry, sisters in law Maura and Nora, brothers in law Chris and Dave, cousins, nieces and nephews, and his extended family and a large circle of neighbours and friends.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Glennon’s Funeral home , Ballinalee Road ,Longford (N39 EC81) on Tuesday from 5.00pm concluding with prayers at 8.00pm. Removal from his home on Wednesday to arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Arva, for Requiem Mass at 11.00am, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan, at 2.00pm.

Patrick (Paddy) Lynch
Main Street, Kilnaleck, Cavan
Patrick (Paddy) Lynch, Esker Lodge Nursing Home and late of Main Street, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan, Saturday, October 14th (peacefully) at Cavan General Hospital. Pre-deceased by his wife Maura, sister May, brothers Charles and Owen. Deeply regretted by his sister Rose, brother Stephen, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home (A82 DX59) on Tuesday (17th) evening from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (18th) at 12 noon in St. Mary's Church, Crosserlough. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
David James Morgan
Ballyhaise, Cavan / Clogherhead, Louth
David James, Morgan, (Ballyhaise Co. Cavan and Murrays Cross, Co. Louth), October 14th 2023, peacefully, in his 90th year, in the exceptional care of the staff of Mount Hybla Nursing Home, Castleknock surrounded by his family.
Loving father of Jacinta, David and Shane; predeceased by his wife Josephine, son Thomas, sisters Ann (Nancy) and Mary Teresa (May). He will be deeply missed by his sisters Bridget Philomena, Cecilia and Regina, extended family, friends, neighbours and former colleagues.

Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Oakview, Nursing Home, Belturbet, surrounded by her loving family, in her 88th year. Predeceased by her husband John James. Sadly missed by her loving family; Eilish (Dallan), James, Pat (Marie), Rosie (Thomas), Mags (Declan), all her grandchildren Mark, Claire, Marie-Louise, Pauric, Dylan, Michelle, Megan, Ryan, Oníosa and Paul her great-grandchildren Cadhlá and Cillian. Deeply regretted by her brother Michael (Aughawillan) and sister Rose Smith (New York).

Mary Elizabeth Power, nee Mc Govern, 52 Lattone Road, Belcoo, Co. Fermanagh / Glangevlin & London. Died peacefully, after a short illness, 13th October 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly beloved wife of the Tommy Power. Dear sister of Bride (Hone, Donegal town) and the late Terry, Tommy, Packie, and John. Loving mother of Cecelia, Kieran, Marcella, David, Fidelma and Michael. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Peter, Caroline, Patrick, David, Kieran, Marie, Tommy, Liam, Jessica, Laura, Luke, Aislinn, Eamon and all her great-grandchildren.
Mary will be reposing at her late home (52 Lattone Road, Belcoo) from 2pm-10pm on Saturday 14th October & Sunday 15th October. Removal from her home on Monday, 16th October, at 10am arriving at St Patrick's Church, Glangevlin (Co. Cavan) for 11am Requiem Mass. Interment will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
May her soul be in Gods right hand.

The death has occurred of Jim Clerkin, Lemineagh, Carlingford and formerly Tonycoogan, Emyvale, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Jimmy and Lily, brother Oliver and infant brother Jim. Very deeply regretted by his loving wife Mary, sons Jonathan and Emmett and daughter Trina, daughters-in-law Eimear and Sharon and also Eddie, grandchildren Derbhla, Nancy, Danny, Frankie, Cohan and Cobi, brothers Sean, Eugene and Brian, sisters Carmel, Mary and Bernadette, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his aunt Bridget and her husband Francie and all his nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Kyra Rooney (aged 12 years) Moyles, Co. Monaghan. Suddenly, surrounded by her loving family at Temple Street Hospital, Saturday, 14th October. Cherished daughter of Mark and Janet, adored sister of Frankie and Aria. Kyra will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her parents, brother and sister, grandparents Frank and Nora Rooney, John Francis and Margaret Mc Kenna, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
