Extension planned for Crust & Crumb factory
A Ballyconnell food manufacturer is proposing a series of alterations to its existing facility.
Crust & Crumb is seeking planning permission for a two-storey extension to its property at Ballyconnell Corporate Park, Annagh. It’s intended to incorporate loading bays on ground floor, a staircase and offices on first floor.
The plans also provide for alterations to elevations previously approved in 2021.
That permission, granted with four conditions attached, was for a two-storey office block, staircase and associated facilities within two previously approved extensions both in 2020 for a bakery, storage and loading bay.
Further information is currently being sought by council planners in respect of a separate Crust & Crumb application, submitted back in July of this year, to build a detached commercial/warehouse unit on site of their existing food production facility.
The request was made by the council in September.
The Ballyconnell Crust & Crumb facility services its European and emerging markets in the Middle East; while the firm’s Derrylin factories supply the UK market.
