Ballyhaise native preparing for upcoming Irish tour.
Cavan singer-songwriter Lisa O'Neill has just released an incredible video for her heart-moving song 'Goodnight World'.
The multi-award winning Ballyhaise native recorded the video, posted on YouTube while in Kerry last year with Myles O'Reilly, Donal Dineen and Daniel O'Neill.
The video was directed by O’Reilly, with art direction from Irish radio presenter, photographer, film maker and former television presenter Dineen.
'Goodnight World' is off Lisa's last album- her fifth to date- the celebrated 'All of this is Chance'. It is released on famed label Rough Trade, and was first launched at Cavan Townhall across two sold-out nights earlier this year.
She is now bringing All Of This Is Chance on tour in October and December 2023, concluding with a show at Dublin's Vicar Street on December 9..
O'Neill has also added new shows in Derry, Belfast, Limerick, Cork, Galway, and Kilkenny.
Support on the tour will be Seamus Fogarty on several dates and Rhob Cunningham at the Patrick Kavanagh Centre
All Of This Is Chance follows five BBC Folk Awards nominations, Choice Music Prize nominations and a Folk Album of the Year accolade in The Guardian in 2019 for Heard a Long Gone Song on Rough Trade’s River Lea imprint.
She received further industry recognition for her 2019 The Wren EP, while an adaptation of Bob Dylan’s ‘All the Tired Horses’ was chosen to play out the epic final scene of hit BBC drama Peaky Blinders.
She most recently played NPR's world renowned Tiny Desk Concert.
