Mel Doherty, 28th August, 2023, Gortnakesh, and formerly St. Brigid's Terrace, Cavan. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Vincent's Ward, The Mater Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his father Joe, mother Rose, brothers Seán and Kevin, and sisters Mary Jo, Margaret, Kathleen, Roseann, Bridie, and Agnes. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, Rosaleen, daughter Anita (Cathal), sons Neil (Elaine), Mel (Olivia), Joseph (Helen), Philip (Siobhán), his adored grandchildren, Clodagh, Gearóid, Callum, Adam, Aoife, Tom, Charlie, Ava, Emma, and Frank. Sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours, community and large circle of friends.

May He Rest in Peace and live long in our memories.

Reposing at his home in Gortnakesh, Cavan,​​​​​​​ Eircode H12E893, Wednesday, 30th August, 4 pm - 9 pm. Removal from his home to the Cathedral of St. Patrick and St. Felim, (Cavan Cathedral), for requiem Mass on Thursday, 31st August, at 11 am. Dromore West, Cootehill, Cavan / Monaghan

Richard Donnelly, Dromore West, Cootehill, Co.Monaghan, Tuesday August 29th 2023, Died Suddenly following a road traffic accident in Chaing Mai, Thailand. Predeceased by his loving father Seán Donnelly. Richard will be forever missed by his heartbroken family, his mum Kate, sister Laura, brother-in-law Ian, nephews James and John and a wide circle of friends.

The death has occurred of Helen Roche, Annahale, Dundalk Rd, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan, Sunday, August 27th, peacefully, at The Care Choice Nursing Home Malahide, surrounded by her family.

Predeceased by her husband Aidan. Helen, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, daughters Jean, Valerie, Karen, Pauline and Claire, son James, sister Mary Lambe (Foxrock), brothers John (Newcastlewest) and Bill Mulcahy (Skerries), sons in-law, sisters in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Helen’s Gentle Soul Rest In Eternal Peace

Helen will repose at Ward's Funeral Home, Castleblayney (A75NP30) tomorrow, Wednesday afternoon, from 5pm until 8pm. Helen's funeral cortège will travel (driving) from her home in Annahale, on Thursday morning to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, for funeral Mass at 11am, followed by private cremation attended by family and relatives. House strictly private, please, by request.
