Mel Doherty

Gortnakesh and formerly St.Brigid’s Terrace, Cavan Town, Cavan, H12 E893

Mel Doherty, 28th August, 2023, Gortnakesh, and formerly St. Brigid's Terrace, Cavan. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. Vincent's Ward, The Mater Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by his father Joe, mother Rose, brothers Seán and Kevin, and sisters Mary Jo, Margaret, Kathleen, Roseann, Bridie, and Agnes. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, Rosaleen, daughter Anita (Cathal), sons Neil (Elaine), Mel (Olivia), Joseph (Helen), Philip (Siobhán), his adored grandchildren, Clodagh, Gearóid, Callum, Adam, Aoife, Tom, Charlie, Ava, Emma, and Frank. Sadly missed by all his nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours, community and large circle of friends. May He Rest in Peace and live long in our memories.

Reposing at his home in Gortnakesh, Cavan,​​​​​​​ Eircode H12E893, Wednesday, 30th August, 4 pm - 9 pm. Removal from his home to the Cathedral of St. Patrick and St. Felim, (Cavan Cathedral), for requiem Mass on Thursday, 31st August, at 11 am. Mark Breslin

Cucreigh, Elphin, Roscommon, F45 EV59 / Salthill, Galway and formerly of Rockbarton Green, Salthill, Galway

Peacefully, after a long illness borne with great courage and dignity, surrounded by his loving family. Mark will be very sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving companion and best friend Breege Dufficy, sisters Karen (Cronin) and Michelle (Corcoran), brothers David and Adrian, sister-in-law Louise, brothers-in-law Adrian and Tom, daughter Rebecca, son Sean, Breege’s son Robert and her sisters, Mark’s aunts Sr. Stephanie and Patty (Corban), uncle Fr. Michael, nephews, nieces, relatives, work colleagues in McLoughlin Transport, kind neighbours, many friends and his cherished dog Benji. Predeceased by his loving parents Peggy (née Heslin) and John Joe, uncles Liam, Fr. Tom and Christo Breslin and Frank, Sean and Kevin Heslin. Rest In Peace Mark.

Reposing at his home in Curcreigh, Elphin, F45 EV59, on Tuesday (29th Aug) from 12noon. Removal on Wednesday morning (30th Aug) at 11.30am to St. Catherines Church, Killina ariving for Funeral Mass at 12noon. Mark will be laid to rest afterwards in Killina Cemetery. Chicago, Illinois and formerly of Shroofe, Monasteraden, Co. Sligo.

(Peacefully) in Chicago. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his sisters Maura, Concepta, Barbara, Doris and Marian, his brothers Albert and Louis, extended family, and friends. May He Rest in Peace.

Funeral will take place in Chicago. A memorial Mass will take place in St. Aidan's Church, Monasteraden at a later date.

Aldo MORELLI

Roscommon Town, Roscommon / Ballaghaderreen, Roscommon / Dublin 8, Dublin.

August 27th, 2023 - suddenly yet peacefully at home aged 60 years; Aldo. He will be very sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken family, his wife luisa, children and grandchildren, his mother Giuseppa, father Domenico, his brothers and sisters, his mother-in-law, father-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends in Ireland and Italy. May He Rest In Peace

Mass of the Resurrection Tuesday morning at 10:30am in the Parish Church of St. Barbato, Casalattico, Italy with burial afterwards.
