Warm spells of hazy sunshine today ahead of rain tomorrow

Mixed and unsettled conditions over the coming days; heavy rain later Friday with sunshine and showers this weekend.
Any mist patches will soon clear to give a mostly dry and breezy day with warm spells of hazy sunshine. However, during the evening some showery outbreaks of rain will develop, mainly across eastern counties and the far southwest. Highest temperatures of 19 to 23 degrees Celsius, best values across Connacht, all in a freshening southeast breeze.
Tonight will very mild and humid with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, heaviest later. Lowest temperatures of 13 to 17 degrees Celsius, in moderate, occasionally fresh southeasterly breezes.
Friday will be cloudy with scattered outbreaks of rain, turning very heavy and persistent across the south and southwest later in the afternoon, and in other areas later with localised flooding. Humid with highest temperatures of 17 to 19 degrees Celsius. Southeast wind will be brisk in parts to begin, later easing but allowing with some mist setting in later too.
Very wet and misty for a time on Friday night with spot flooding, with a clearance extending from the southwest. Mild and humid with lowest temperature of 12 to 15 degrees Celsius in light to moderate southerly breezes.
This weekend will bring a mix of sunshine and scattered showers, some heavy closer to the Atlantic. Warm in sunshine, especially further east, where it will be mostly dry. Highest temperatures of 18 to 23 degrees Celsius. Southwesterly winds will be moderate, occasionally fresh in strength.
Monday again will see a mix of cloud and sunny spells with passing heavy showers. Highest temperatures of 18 to 22 degrees Celsius, in rather brisk southwest winds.
