Brigid Caldwell, Barconey, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan. Wednesday, August 16th (peacefully) surrounded by her family in the care of the Lisdarn Unit, Cavan. Predeceased by her brother James. Sadly missed by her sisters Margaret, Annie (Monaghan), Chrissie and Josie, brother Noel (England), sister in law, brother in law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Rest In Peace.
Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck on Thursday evening from 6pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal from Briody's Funeral Home on Friday (via Barconey) to St. Mary's Church Castlerahan arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
The family would like to acknowledge the great care given to Brigid by the staff at Cavan General Hospital, The Lisdarn Unit and her carers.

Rev. Fr. Stephen (Fintan) Cooney, O.Praem, Norbertine Fathers, Kilnacrott and Queens Park, Perth, Australia. Formerly Tierlahood, Stradone, Co. Cavan. Sunday, 9th July, 2023.
Pre-deceased by his parents Thomas and Mary Anne Cooney, his brothers Eugene T, Vincent, Leo, Ambrose, Kevin, Fr. Paul (Columban Fathers) and Stanislaus, sisters Rita, Gertrude and Claire.
Sadly missed by his brother and sister Fr. Albert (SMA) New Jersey, Sr. Gerald Joseph (Nazareth Sisters) Gearldton, Aus., sister-in-law Rose Cooney, Tierlahood and Bob Rockarts, Canada, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Fr. Stephen’s Funeral Mass was celebrated in Perth on Wednesday 25th July, 2023.
A Remembrance Mass for Fr. Stephen will be held in St. Michael's Church, Clifferna on Friday 18th August at 8:30pm.

The death has occurred of Ann Govier (nee Smith) Lincolnshire, England and formerly Glassdrummond, Poles, Co.Cavan. Beloved daughter of the late Benny and Susan Smith (Glassdrummond, Poles, Cavan) and sister of the late Kathleen and Geraldine. Tuesday, August 15th 2023, peacefully and dignified, after a long illness bravely borne.
Ann will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by her husband Bob, daughters Tara and Cheryl, son Clint, her adored grandchildren, sisters Sue (Shankill Upper, Cavan), Patricia (Glassdrummond, Poles, Cavan) and Brian (Oldtown Manor, Cavan), nieces Fíona Smith, Michelle Logan, Ciara Cosgrove and nephew Paul Smith, cousins, all her relatives and many friends in England and Ireland.
Ann's Funeral will be held in England. A memorial Mass for Ann will be celebrated in St. Brigid's Church, Killygarry, Cavan at a later date.

Michael McGovern, Corracliffe, Glangevlin, Co. Cavan. Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, following a short illness. Predeceased by his wife Nora and son Michael Anthony.
Deeply regretted by his devoted family, his sons and daughters; John Martin (Liz) (Florencecourt), Olivia Markey (Brian) (Virginia), Ronan (Glan), Jeremiah (Lorraine) (Ballinaglera) and Bernadette Markey (Noel) (Drumgoon) & daughter in law Chrissie. Also sadly missed by his sisters Mary Maggie McMahon and Elizabeth Curry (Belturbet), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and a large circle of loyal neighbours and friends.

Remain reposing at his daughter in law Chrissie's residence from 3pm to 9pm on Thursday. House Strictly private at all other times, please. Requiem Mass on Friday at St. Patrick's Church, Blacklion at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Glangevlin.
Due to the widespread of Covid, the family would appreciate that people file past the remains and the family, and that there is no handshaking in the house. Masks to be worn in the family home due to rise in number of Covid cases.

Smith, Theresa, (Tessie), Main Street, Arva, Co. Cavan, (nee Lynch, Dingins, Loch Gowna) Wed 16th Aug, peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her husband P.J. Sadly missed by her children; Francie, Pauric, Mary T (Fitzharris), John and Breege (Scott), daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, her 10 grandchildren, extended family and a close circle of neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her daughter Breege's residence at Farrangarve, Arva, H12PO33 on Thurs 17th Aug from 5.00-10.00pm. House private at all other times please. Theresa's requiem Mass will take place on Fri 18th Aug at 12pm in The Church of the Sacred Heart, Arva, with burial afterwards in Cornea Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Maureen Boylan, 1 St Dympna's Terrace, Scotstown, Co.Monaghan, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family, Wednesday 16th of August. Predeceased by her husband Mick, sons Raymond (Ned) & Michael (Mickey), grandson Aidan (Leonard), parents Shelia and Eddie Holland, brothers Hugh, Eamon & Maurice and sister Shelia (Mc Carron)

Reposing at Corrigan's Funeral Home, The Lower Commons, Castleblayney, Co Monaghan, A75E361, tomorrow Thursday from 5pm to 8pm. Funeral cortege leaving Corrigan's Funeral Home on Friday at 9am to arrive at the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saggart, Co Dublin, for funeral mass at 11am and burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
