Ready for a good bash!
Excitement is building ahead of this weekend’s Breffni Bash, a two-night festival featuring top music acts such as The Whistlin’ Donkeys and The Tumbling Paddies. The outdoor events take place at Cavan’s Egg Market on Saturday and Sunday, August 12-13.
Chairman of the festival Donal Keogan is looking forward to a great weekend. “Ticket sales are going well, we expect both gigs to go well. We are hoping for a good weekend and the main thing is that everyone enjoys themselves. There’s well in excess of 4,000 sold,” he revealed.
“If it doesn’t sell out, tickets will be available on the gate, but I expect they will be all sold,” predicted Donal.
“We’re very happy with how the organisation of the event has gone, so we want to showcase what Cavan Town has to offer.”
