Gardaí in Ballyconnell are investigating the theft of a Yamaha engine on Tuesday.

The 80hp Yamaha engine is thought to have been stolen between Tuesday night, August 1 and Wednesday morning August 2, from a marina out the Carrigallen Road from Ballyconnell.

The engine is painted in a distinctive blue colour.
