Galway Races continue as Zarak The Brave wins the Galway Hurdle

Racing is continuing in Ballybrit for Ladies' Day at the Galway Races.

The feature race of the day is the Guinness Galway Hurdle, which was won by Zarak The Brave after a photo finish.

Here are the results from the fourth day of racing:

6.10pm

I Will Be Baie proved to be a fitting favourite for the final running of the day, the Guinness Time Flat Race.

Second-favourite Sea Music was back in third as Don'tstopthemusic took second.

5.40pm

The Guinness 0.0 Handicap was taken by Granville Street, with the punters favourite Stoke The Fire coming home in second.

Sign From Above rounded out the top three finishers, following by Out On Friday.

The Galway Guinness Hurdle was won by Zarak The Brave at 9/2, trained by Willie Mullins, and has become the first four-year-old to win since 2000.

It also marks the sixth time Mullins has had a winning horse in the Galway Hurdle.

Jesse Evans came second at 16/1, with My Mate Mozzie in third at 15/2

4.30pm

11/2 The Big Doyen by Kevin Sexton has claimed victory at the 4:30 race, although it is now been reviewed by the stewards.

In second was What Path at 9/2 and in third was Pink in the Park at 7/2.

3.55pm

Arthur Guinness Corrib Fillies Stakes was won by Miramis.

2.10pm

The action got underway with the Guinness Beginners Hurdle, which was won by Miss Harper at 11/2
