Leslie Moore

Littlemount, Clones, Monaghan / Cavan

Leslie Moore, Littlemount, Clones, Co. Monaghan. Beloved husband of the late Beryl. Passed away Wednesday 19th July 2023 in the loving care of his family. Sadly missed by his sons Kenneth, Trevor, Meredith and Gary, daughter Dawn, sister Gloria, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives and many friends.

Resting at his son Meredith and daughter-in-law Shirley's home at Legnakelly, Clones this evening until 9.00pm and again tomorrow Thursday from 2.00pm until 10.00pm.

Funeral service on Friday, 21st July, at 2.00pm in St. Tighernach's Church of Ireland Church, Clones with burial afterwards in Clones Parish Cemetery, Scotshouse Rd., Clones.

Family flowers only please, donations if so desired, to Clones Parish Church Repair Fund care of the undertaker or any family member.

Bernard (Benny) Smith

The death has occurred of Bernard (Benny) Smith Corsillago, Lisnalong, Co. Monaghan. July 19th 2023 peacefully in the loving care of his family at home. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Sadie, sister Kathleen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving brother Seamus, nephews Mark and Fergal, nieces Lorraine and Leona, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill this Friday evening from 5 o'clock to 7o'clock. Funeral cortege leaving Mullen's Funeral Home on Saturday morning at 10.30 to arrive at St. Michael's Church, Cootehill for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass, followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. The death has occurred of Geraldine Smith, Palmyra, Mullagh, Co. Cavan, and formerly from 727 Goulyduff, Athy, Co. Kildare.

Peacefully surrounded by her family 18th July 2023 at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda

Geraldine is predeceased by her loving parents Patrick and Bridie Whelan and her baby sister Mary Whelan and is survived by her devoted husband Patrick, son Damien, her girls Louise and Sarah, Louises partner Gavin, brothers Pat and Andy, sisters Margaret, Bridie, and Una, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home Bailieborough Road, Virginia A82 YV58 on Thursday from 5pm - 8pm.

Funeral Mass on Friday, 21st July, in St Mary’s Church Cross A82 CK73 at 11am, followed by burial in Mullagh Cemetery.

Eamonn Lowry, 13 Millhill Lawns, Manorhamilton, Co. Leitrim, formerly of Stillorgan, Co. Dublin and originally from Clones, Co. Monaghan.

It is with the deepest sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Eamonn Lowry on July 18th 2023, in the loving care of his family and in the tender care of the North West Hospice, Sligo. At rest now, he is welcomed in heaven by his beautiful daughter Suzanne and his parents Daniel and Kathleen.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Peggy, sons Paul, Conor, Dermot, Brian and Stephen, their wives and partners Aoife, Annette, Bhree, Denise and Ellen, grandchildren Oscar, Kitty, Eamonn, Joshua, Odran, Ivor, Seren and Camilla, siblings Dónal, Geraldine, Joe and Nuala, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Pat McGeough, Kilnacranfy, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the tender loving care of the staff of Castleross Nursing Home, Wednesday 19th July 2023. Predeceased by his parents James and Catherine, brother Ted (Edward) and sisters-in-law Theresa and Helen. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his brother Jim, sister Philomena, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death occurred of Colin Murphy, New York and formerly of 12 Cappog, Ballinode, Co. Monaghan, unexpectedly in New York, Monday 10th July. Predeceased by his father John. Beloved and adored father of Niamh, Fallone and Killian. Colin will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his daughters and son, by his heart broken mother Maureen, sisters Jennifer (Noel Ward) and Martina (Roy Mc Elwaine), his brothers John (Rosey) and Enda (Jessica), nieces Hollie, Ruby, Maisie, Connie and Nia and nephews Ethan, Harry, Zach and Lewis, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Colin.

The death has occurred of Nora West (Nee Mc Philips), Cormeen, Latton, Castleblayney, Co.Monaghan, Wednesday, July 19th, peacefully in the tender loving care, of the nurses and staff St Mary’s Hospital Castleblayney. Nora, predeceased by her husband Peter, sisters, brothers and most recently her sister Mary and daughter in-law Maureen. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family sons Michael, Patrick (Sheila), Peter (Siobhan) and Declan (Linda), daughter Marie Langan and her son Declan, her cherished grandchildren, and her adored great-grandchildren, sister’s in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Nora will repose at her residence (A75 XF80) today Wednesday from 6pm until removal on Friday morning at 11:30am to arrive at St Mary’s Church Latton, for funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
