The death has occurred of Mary Brigid (Maura) Carolan nee Mc Cahey, Edenburt, Virginia, Co. Cavan and formerly Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at her home on Monday 17th July.

Predeceased by her husband John Tommie.

Deeply regretted by her daughters Linda and Elizabeth, her sons Michael and Noel, her son in law Francie (Costello) and her daughter in law Sandra, her grandchildren Kevin, James, Annie, Shane, Katie, Sophia, Luiza, Arthur, Michaela and Theresa, cousins, relatives and friends.

Remains reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58), on Wednesday from 6 o'clock until prayers at 8 o'clock.

Removal to St. Matthew’s Church, Maghera, Virginia, Co. Cavan arriving for 11 o'clock Funeral Mass on Thursday, followed by burial in St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Lower Magheracloone, Carrickmacross.

No. 2 Waterfront, Bailieborough, Cavan

Robert Rountree, No. 2 Waterfront, Bailieborough, Co Cavan and formerly of Coppanagh, Bailieborough died on the 17th July 2023 peacefully at Lisdarn Unit for the elderly, Cavan surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his sisters Bella Pringle, Bailieborough, Lily Rowntree, Kingscourt, sister-in-law Gretta Rountree, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his sister-in-law Gretta Rountrees residence at Lisnalea, Bailieborough A82 NH01 on Tuesday 18th July from 5pm - 8pm. Funeral on Wednesday to arrive at Bailieborough Parish Church for funeral service at 2pm with burial in adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Parish Hall repair fund c/o any family member or undertaker.

Paddy (Patrick) Cunningham

Drumnagrella, Inniskeen, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Paddy (Patrick) Cunningham 17th July 2023, Drumnagrella, Inniskeen, Co. Monaghan peacefully at home. Dear son of the late Rose and Peter Cunningham. Much loved husband of the late Delia. Beloved brother of Mary McDonald Lisdoonan, Dympna Brennan Seola, Seamus Cunningham Carlow, Anne O Malley Rathoath, predeceased by brothers Barney, Kevin,Seán and sister Shelia Sands. Sadly missed and remembered with love by sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at his residence Drumgrella tomorrow, Tuesday 18th, from 3pm until 9pm and Wednesday,19th, from 12 pm until 9pm Removal Thursday morning at 10.30 am to Church of Mary Mother of Mercy, Inniskeen arriving for 11 am Requiem Mass Burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery, Inniskeen.

The death has occurred of Kathleen Mc Guigan (nee McHugh), Drumgriston, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan and formerly Shanmullagh, Hackballs Cross, Dundalk, Co.Louth, Monday, July 17th, peacefully at Castleross Retirement Home, Carrickmacross.

Predeceased by her husband Packie. Kathleen, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, sister Mary McEneaney, nephews Peter and Brian Mc Eneaney, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.
