The death has occurred of Linda Barrett, Naughan, Belturbet, Co. Cavan, 8th July 2023. Suddenly, at her home. Predeceased by her father Vincent. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her mother Frances (nee Parker), aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Nigel Eakins, Carrowreagh, Kingscourt, Co Cavan, died on the 8th July 2023, peacefully, at the Mater Hospital. Predeceased by his loving wife Hilda. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, daughters Dawn (Michael), Audrey (Paul), Jennifer, Margaret (Michael), grandchildren, great-grandson, brothers, sister, relatives and friends.

Nigel will be reposing at his daughter Audrey's residence, at Gallonboy, Kingscourt, A82 R1X4, on Sunday from 2pm - 8pm and Monday from 2pm - 8pm. Removal on Tuesday, 11th July, to arrive at St. Ernan's Church, Kingscourt, for funeral service at 2pm, followed by burial in Shercock Church Of Ireland graveyard. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation.

Kathleen (Connie) Ennis nee Keappock, Cloverhill, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on the 8th July 2023 peacefully at Fairlawns Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Dennis, granddaughter Aleah. Deeply regretted by her daughters Ann Marie (Jim), Patricia (John), sons Aidan (Barbara) and Paul (Karen), grandchildren Ethan, Cian, Aidan, Mark, Emma, Kyle, Killian and Teegan, great grandchild Arabella, sisters Anna, Bridgie, Marian and Olive, brothers Tony and Donal, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Sunday 9th July from 3pm - 6pm. Funeral to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough for funeral mass on Monday, 10th July, at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Anne's Cemetery. Funeral mass can be viewed live at St Anne's Church Webcam.

O’BRIEN Paddy (Sandymount Avenue, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 and formerly of Aughavas, Co. Leitrim and Bailieborough, Co. Cavan) July 5, 2023. Peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of Myrnie and loving father of Valerie and Shirley. He will be dearly missed by his devoted wife, his daughters, sons-in-law James and Victor, his adored grandsons Niall and Tom, sisters Nelly, Patsy and Josie, brother-in- law Michael, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, 6 Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, D04 X446 (opposite UCD Flyover) on Sunday July 9, from 3pm until 5pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday afternoon, July 11th, at 1pm, at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook, D04 HW82, followed by the burial at Dardistown Cemetery.

Reposing at his residence (Lackenclare, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan), tomorrow Sunday, from 2pm until 6pm for close neighbours and friends. Removal on Monday to arrive at St. Matthew's Church, Crosskeys, for Funeral Mass at 11am, burial afterwards in St. Dympna's Cemetery Lower Lavey.

The death has occurred of Peadar Dooley, Dundalk Road, Essexford, Killanny, Co. Monaghan. 7th July 2023. Peacefully, surrounded by his cherished family, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by his parents Patrick & Cait and his brothers Seamus & Sean.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family, his wife Kathleen, his daughter Paula (Ivor) and his sons Shane (Sandra) & Peter (Niamh), his adored grandchildren; Ellen, Evan, Hannah, Holly & JP, his brothers Padraig, Thomas & Terence and his sisters Mary, Mairead, Caith, Pauline & Áine, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends & neighbours.

Peadar will repose at his home, Dundalk Road, Essexford, on Tuesday, 11th July, from 1pm until 9pm.

Peadar's funeral cortège will leave his home on Wednesday, 12th July, proceeding to St. Enda's Church, Killanny, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining Cemetery.

Alan Finnegan

Rostigue, Clogher, Claremorris, Mayo / Ballybay, Monaghan

Formally of Ballybay, Co. Monaghan. Former member of the Irish Defence Force, 5th and 1st Infantry Battalion. Peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. Alan will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Christina, daughter, Tracey and son Barry, grandchildren, Ariana, Jamie and Micheal. daughter in law Ashling. Deeply regretted by his sister, Josie and her husband Alan, sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at Carnacon Community Centre on Monday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral mass on Tuesday at 2.30pm in St. Mary's Church, Carnacon with burial afterwards in Burriscarra Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society. House strictly private.
