Funding for Ulster-Scots marching bands
The fund will provide support of up to 90% of eligible costs.
The Ulster-Scots Agency has secured additional funding to open a pilot funding programme for marching bands based in the Border counties of the Cavan, Monaghan and Donegal.
The funding programme will assist Ulster-Scots marching bands to purchase instruments or uniforms to make their band more sustainable.
The fund will provide support of up to 90% of eligible costs, up to a maximum grant of €10,000, covering musical instruments, uniforms, and consumable items such as pipe bags, chanters, reeds, drumsticks, and pads.
Bands interested in applying are encouraged to contact the agency before submitting their application, the deadline for which is 12 noon on July 31.
