Cavan singer tours Australia with Russell Crowe's band

A Cavan singer has been sharing the limelight with a host of stars during a music tour with Russell Crowe in Australia.

Lorraine O'Reilly has just finished a whistle-stop tour of five Australian states over five weeks as part of Hollywood actor's 'Indoor Garden Party'.

The Australian series came to a memorable climax with two sold-out shows in Sydney Opera House and Manning Bar this weekend as Lorraine also sang alongside Crowe's stellar guests Michael Bublé, and Marcia Hines a household name Down Under as a judge in Australian Idol.

Last night the surprise guest was singer Rita Ora, fresh from stealing the show at Eurovision. Meanwhile RZA from the Wu Tang Clan joined them on stage for Crowe's new single 'Let Your Light Shine.

Lorraine has had a long term working relationship with Crowe, having first shared the stage with the star of Gladiator and LA Confidential during a UK and Ireland tour in 2016.

Lorraine has also spent time on Russell’s farm this year recording an album with his band the Gentleman’s Barbers. Some of this new material will feature on the new Indoor Garden Party Album due for release at the end of the year.

They will bring the Indoor Garden Party tour to Europe next.
