Arrests made after burglary in Ballyconnell

Gardaí in Cavan investigating an aggravated burglary in Ballyconnell that occurred early on the morning of May 30 have arrested four males in their twenties.

They were detained for questioning in a number of Garda stations in the county, and were subsequently charged with related offences and appeared before the district court.

Three of these men were remanded in custody, a file is currently being prepared for the directions of the D.P.P. and investigations are continuing.
