Garda appeal after motorbike stolen

Theft occurred between 11pm on Tuesday, May 30, and 5am on Wednesday, May 31.

Gardaí in Cavan are appealing for information after a motorcycle was stolen from a house near Belturbet.

Anyone who may have noticed suspicious activity in the Kilduff area, just off the N3 on the Old Belturbet Road, between 11pm on Tuesday, May 30, and 5am on Wednesday, May 31, is asked to contact gardaí on 049 4368800.

In particular they are asking motorists with dash cams who may have been travelling either the N3 or the Old Belturbet Road during those hours to make it available to them.

The motorcycle stolen is a distinctive 231 CN registered Husqvarna 701 Supermoto motorcycle.

A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana said: “Gardaí are investigating an unauthorized taking of a vehicle from a property on the 30th May 2023 at 11.30pm in Kilduff, Belturbet, Co. Cavan. A motorcycle was stolen. No arrests have been made.”
