Gardaí and IFA host rural crime information roadshow

Events have taken place across the county, ending Friday.

The Cavan Community Engagement Unit within An Garda Siochana, in conjunction with the IFA ,will host the last of their information stands throughout the county later this week.

Gardai will be present giving information on topics such as Community Safety Farm/Rural Safety, Road Safety, Burglary and Theft Prevention and be there to answer any queries the public might have when they attend Poles Co-op Carpark & Ballyhaise Agricultural College on Frida, Mayy 26.

The event is aimed at raising awareness in the areas of Redhills, Ballyhaise, Butlersbridge, Killygarry, Laragh, Lavey, Clifferna and Behey.

Earlier this week the information roadshow attended Ballinagh Community Hall Car Park (Monday; Dowra Village (Tuesday); and Arva Church Car Park earlier today (Wednesday).
