Gardaí believe VW Golf used in burglary

A burglar struck a property in Castleblayney and made off with a sum of cash this morning.

The break in occurred at approximately 10am this morning (Friday, May 19), in the Concra area of the town.

A silver VW Golf is believed to have been involved bearing partial registration 08 D. If you can assist please contact Castleblayney Gardai on 042 974 7900.

Cootehill

It follows a recent burglary in Cootehill in which a quantity of jewellery and a sum of cash were taken. The break-in occurred at Dairybrae, near to Cootehill Mart on Saturday, May 6 between 7:20-8.30pm.
