Cash and jewellery taken in Cootehill burglary

A burglar made off with money and jewellery after breaking into a home in Cootehill last weekend.

Gardai in Bailieboro are appealing for information in relation to the break-in, which occurred at Dairybrae, near to Cootehill Mart on Saturday, May 6 between 7:20-8.30pm.

"A quantity of jewellery and a sum of cash was taken," say the local gardaí on social media. "Were you in that area and noticed suspicious activity or have dash cam footage? If you can help in any way please give Bailieboro Gardai a call on 042 9694570."
