Ryan is a little Blue Hero!

Eight year old Ryan Beirne from Belturbet is the latest to be recruited to the local ranks of Little Blue Hero. At the weekend brave Ryan was greeted by Garda Richie MacManus from Ballyconnell Garda Station and received his induction pack.

A not-for-profit charity operated entirely by volunteers made up of Garda members/staff, retired Garda members, their families and friends, Little Blue Heroes aims to help families in need in Ireland who have children undergoing long-term medical treatment for serious illness.
