Ivars Cakuls

75 Mostrim Oakes, Edgeworthstown, Longford / Cavan

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Ivars Cakuls, who peacefully left this world in his sleep on April 15th, 2023, in his 53rd year.

Ivars will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who are left with cherished memories of a kind, gentle and helpful man. During his 53 years, Ivars touched the lives of many people leaving a lasting impact on them. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, his infectious laughter and his ability to bring joy to those around him.

Sadly missed by son Mareks, daughter Annija-Darta,sisters Ilze Tuceka and Aija Paula.

Ivars, your light will continue to shine on the hearts of those who knew and loved you.

Sleep well, till we meet again.

Reposing in Connell's Funeral Home, Church St, Longford, (N39P0E8) on Thursday 20th April, from 7pm until 8.30pm. A private cremation will take place at a later date.

Predeceased by his father Eddie. Deeply regretted by his wife Angela (née Wynne), children Aoibheann, Caoimhe, Fionn, Bláithín and Faoláin, mother Patsy, his brothers Eddie (Denise), Jimmy (Martina), Bernard (Cecelia), Philip, Myles (Bernadette), John Paul (Niamh), parents-in-law Frankie and Moira Wynne, sister-in-law Rosaleen, brothers-in-law Kevin, Colm (Linda), Raymond (Michelle), and extended family. House strictly private at all times.

The death has occurred of Carmel McGeough (née Carolan). Lurganboys, Culloville, Castleblayney & formerly Barleyhill, Kingscourt, 19th April 2023. Peacefully, at her home, surrounded by her cherished family.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her heartbroken family, her husband Fintan, her daughter Anna and her son Brian, her parents Francie & Mary and her sisters Paula, Dolores (Andrew Larkin), & Fiona (Noel McConnell), her parents-in-law Eamon & Mary, her brother-in-law Eamon (Dympna) and her sisters-in-law Carmel (James), Kathleen (David) & Eileen (Sean), the extended McGeough & Carolan families, relatives, friends and neighbours.

MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.

Carmel will repose at her home, Lurganboys, on Thursday, 20th & Friday, 21st April, from 3pm until 8pm.

Carmel's funeral cortège will leave her home on Saturday, 22nd April, driving to St. Lastra's Church, Donaghmoyne, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Charles Sherwin, Drumacarrow, Bailieborough, Co Cavan and formerly of Baldoyle, Dublin, died on the 19th April 2023, peacefully, at his residence. Predeceased by brother Colm and sister Olive.

Reposing at his residence on Thursday, 20th April 2023, from 2pm-8pm. Removal on Friday, 21st April, to arrive at St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough, for funeral Mass at 11am. Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Time change Arrangements have changed.

Peacefully at South West Acute Hospital Enniskillen Co. Fermanagh. Wife of the late Brendan daughter of the late Eoin and Lizzie, Sister of the late Mary, Katie, Paddy, John, James, and Eugene (Jin). Deeply regretted by her sisters-in-law Mary Kate Prior (Corlough Co. Cavan) and Rose Sweeney (Omagh), Brother-in-law Eugene Sweeney (England) nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

MAY BRIDGET'S GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE

Bridget's remains will repose at her niece's house Louise Prior Tiercahan Swanlinbar Eircode H14 HP86 from 6.30pm on Thursday 20th April until removal on Friday at 11.30am to arrive at Saint Patrick's Church Corlough at 12Noon for Mass of the Resurrection followed by burial in Loughmacrory cemetery adjoining the Church of Saint Mary BT79 9LQ arriving at 3pm approx.

Peacefully in Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by Mary B. and his brother Peter.

Sadly missed by his son Stephen (Senna), daughters Rose (Philip), and Martina (Gary), grandchildren Anna-Mary, Ellie-Mae, Niamh, Ollie, Jamie, Thomas and Tíghearnain, brothers Jimmy, Philip and Dermot, sisters Margaret and Alice, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of John McPhillips, Winchmore Hill, London and formerly Gortnana, Corcaghan Co. Monaghan. Saturday 8th April 2023, peacefully at his home in the loving care of his family.

Pre-deceased by his parents, Seamus and Alice. John is much loved and will be sadly missed by his wife Maria, son Mikey, brothers Frank (Nuala) and Stephen, sisters Catherine (Kevin McCarthy), Mary (Noel Treanor), Cora (Martin Mulligan) and Marie (James Mallon), brother-in-law Michael Boyle, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.

John’s remains will return from London and will arrive at St.Michael’s Church, Corcaghan, via Gortnana, on Tuesday, 25th April, at 7.30pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, 26th April, at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Donations, in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Irish Cancer Society c/o Peter McMahon, McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.

The death has occurred of Gerard Neeson, Milltown, Co Monaghan on the 19th April surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by parents Philip & Maureen.
