Forest Park, Rathardrum, Virginia, Co. Cavan, and formerly of Main St. Mullagh, Co. Cavan.

Tragically, following an accident, aged 37 years.

Predeceased by his beloved Mother Patricia and Brother John.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving partner, Cassie, his devastated family, father Sean and brothers Peter, Alan and Stephen, Cassie's parents Margaret and Derek, sister in law Laura, Alan's partner Elaine, Cassie's brother Dwane, his adored nieces and nephews Reuben, Anton, Eabha Rose, Johnny and Alexander, aunts, uncles, cousins, his best friend Kevin, relatives, neighbours and his faithful four legged companions.

Reposing in The Village Chapel of Rest, Mullagh A82DE28, on Thursday evening from 5pm to 8pm. Predeceased by his parents Charles P and Gertrude, brother Desmond, sister Maura. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, his brothers Paddy, Gerald and Noel, sisters Carmel and Clare, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill, Co. Cavan, Eircode - H16EH61, this Thursday evening, April 13th, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Removal from Mullen's Funeral Home Friday morning at 11.30am to arrive to St. Patrick's Church, Corrick, for 12 noon funeral Mass.

Burial will take place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Mary Rafferty (née Kane)

Jamestown, Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim / Cavan / Roscommon

Bolton England and formerly of Tully House, Jamestown, Carrick-on-Shannon passed away peacefully on March 25th in the UK.

Predeceased by her son Eugene and her loving husband Frank.

She will be sadly missed by her sons, Kevin and Kieran, her grand-children, Caitlin, Dayna, Andrew, Joseph, Hannah and Rosie, also her sister Margret and brother Seamus. She will be remembered by many family and friends from Roscommon, Leitrim and Cavan.

Mary's body will be flown back home from Bolton where she will have a funeral Mass at St Osmund’s, Long Lane, Bolton on Wednesday, 12th April, at 11am.

She will be taken from Smiths Funeral Home Barrack St, Granard, Co. Longford N39 AX97 on Friday, 14th April, for Funeral Mass at The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Coronea, Co. Cavan at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to thank the Parish Of the Church of the Immaculate Conception and Fr O’Gorman for their help.

Also the family would like to thank all those in the UK and at home who have assisted in bringing Mary home especially Howarth’s Funeral services, Bolton.

Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at his residence.

Predeceased by his parents Joe and Ann (Downpatrick).

Stephen will be very sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret, daughter Katie, son Conor and his fiancée Aoife, sisters Cynthia and Fiona (Downpatrick), brothers Matthew (Thailand) and Damien (England), aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, work colleagues and a large circle of friends.

10th April 2023. In her 84th year.

Peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family, in the wonderful care of the staff of Creevy House, Castleross Nursing Home, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.

Predeceased by her husband William, her parents Patrick & Mary, her sisters Eileen, Anne, Jody & Birdy and her brothers Packie & Tom.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family, her sisters Kathleen (Pat Steele, Carrickmacross) & Geraldine (Felix Scullion, Dundalk), her much-loved nieces Louise (Padraig) & Denise and her nephews Mark, Neil & Patrick, her grandnephews, grandnieces, most especially her grandniece Caitlin, her relatives, friends, neighbours and her 'Castleross family'.

Rosie will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Wednesday, 12th April, from 4pm until 6pm.

Rosie's funeral cortège will leave the Funeral Home on Thursday, 13th April, driving to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dundalk.

Elizabeth (Betty) Mc Goldrick (née Mc Dermott)

Clonavilla, Clones, Monaghan, H23 FV07

Formerly of Glasgow, Scotland, tragically, as a result of an accident, Saturday, 8th April.

Betty is predeceased by her parents Mary and Owen and her sisters Tilly, Kathleen, Bridie, Mary and Sheila and her brother Sean.

Cherished and much loved wife of Hugh, adored mother of Siobhan and Martina (Paul).

Betty will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband, daughters, son-in-law, grandchildren Lauren (Alan) and Roisin (Abiola) and her much loved great-grandchildren Luna-Rose and Primrose, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours, many friends, and by all who knew and loved Betty.

Betty will repose at the family home, Clonavilla, Clones, (H23FVO7) on Friday from 4pm to 8pm with removal on Saturday morning at approx 10.30am to arrive at the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery, Clones.

Noreen (Nora) Josephine Atkinson (Landy NÉE Wallace)

England and late of New Kiltoom, Castlepollard, Westmeath / Louisburgh, Mayo

Ruislip, Middlesex, England and formerly of New Kiltoom, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath and Louisburgh, Co. Mayo – (peacefully) on January 13, 2023.

Beloved wife of Brian and the late Eamonn and dear mother of Paul and Louise.

Noreen will be very sadly missed by her husband and family, son-in-law Gary, daughter-in-law Jackie, her cherished grandchildren Natasha, Heather, Aidan, Pearse and Christy, her brothers Anthony, Stephen and Tommy, sister Mary, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.

A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 12 noon in the Church of St John the Baptist, Whitehall, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath followed by interment of ashes in the adjoining cemetery.

Peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 9th.

Predeceased by his parents Tom and Margaret Moore.

Much loved brother of Ailish, Geraldine and Annmarie. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephew, brothers in law, aunts, cousins, and those in the wider community.

Martin will be fondly remembered by all those that knew him and worked with him over the years.
