Dawn Mass at historic abbey

Several hundred of worshipers from across the region gathered in the early hours of last Sunday morning to attend Dawn Mass at the historic Drumlane Abbey.

Drumlane Pastoral Council and Fr Gerry Comiskey PP organised the dawn Mass, which treated those in attendance to a spectacular late Spring sunrise.

The annual gathering sees people travel from neighbouring counties to mark the most important day in the Christian Liturgical Year.

Prayers were offered for the continuing efforts to built peace along the border and throughout the whole country.
