Largely dry today with spells of sunshine developing through the afternoon, alongside a few well scattered showers. It will stay cloudier in east Leinster until late afternoon, with some patchy drizzle. Highest temperatures of 8 degrees in the north to 13 degrees in the south, in a light to moderate northeasterly breeze.

Cold, dry and largely clear tonight apart from the odd shower. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +3 degrees, coldest over Ulster and north Leinster, with frost forming in places and the potential for some icy patches also. However, temperatures will stay just above freezing in much of Munster and Connacht. Some patchy mist developing in light winds.

Any frost will clear tomorrow morning leaving a largely dry start with sunshine and a few light showers in Munster. Cloud will slowly build from the Atlantic through the afternoon and evening, with scattered showers developing elsewhere. However, most eastern and northern parts will remain dry with sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in a light southerly breeze, increasing moderate through the day.

Starting clear Monday night and dry for most, with cloud building from the west ahead of a band of rain which will move over western counties overnight. Winds will increase to a more moderate southerly with overnight lows of 4 to 8 degrees.

Cloudy on Tuesday with widespread rain during the morning gradually easing to scattered showers from the afternoon. Fresh and blustery southerly winds will veer southwesterly as the rain clears with highs of 13 to 16 degrees.

A blustery night on Tuesday with scattered showers slowly clearing. Dry for a time in the northeast overnight before another band of rain moves in from the west around dawn. A mild night with lows of 8 to 10 degrees.

Wednesday is expected to be another mostly wet day with scattered blustery showers or longer spells of rain, becoming drier by evening. Staying mild with highs of 13 to 15 degrees and moderate southwesterly winds.

A cloudy and mostly dry night on Wednesday with showers moving in from the west. Mild overnight with lows of 8 to 10 degrees, with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.

Current projections show a few light showers to start on Thursday, followed by heavy rain pushing in from the south, and spreading to all areas. Highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees, with moderate to fresh southerly winds.
