Gardaí rule out foul play in Blacklion fatality

Gardaí have ruled out foul play following the discovery of a man's body in Blacklion on Thursday March 9.

A man in his 30s who was believed to be connected to the deceased, who was named locally as Dennis Neary (52), had been detained at Castlerea Garda Station.

However, he has been released from that detention and is no longer suspected of any criminality in this incident.

A statement from an Garda Síochána say that they 'continue to investigate the matter for the preparation of a coroner inquest file only.'
