Positive mental health video series passes 500,000 views
SOSAD Ireland and Real Talks are pleased to announce that the Real Talks with SOSAD Ireland well-being hub video series has been viewed more than 500,000 times.
The well-being hub features mental skills masterclasses with Real Talks founder Alan O’Mara and powerful conversations with Rory O’Connor (Rory’s Stories), David Balfe (For Those I Love) and Leanne Kiernan (Liverpool FC and Ireland).
The well-being hub was initially launched in September 2022 to empower positive mental health. The partnership, supported by the Mental Health Ireland Resilience Fund, has been a huge success and continues to help people to live happier and healthier lives through informative and engaging content.
All videos and podcasts are now available free of charge at www.sosadireland.ie/real-talks/

Real Talks Founder, Alan O’Mara said: “I am extremely proud of the results so far from this collaboration with SOSAD Ireland. I have no doubt the well-being hub will continue to engage people to develop mental skills in a proactive way. We know that the videos, podcasts and articles from the campaign have already encouraged people to reach out to SOSAD Ireland for free mental health support services. I look forward to working with SOSAD Ireland in the future to empower more people and communities.”
SOSAD Ireland General Manager, Carol Murphy, said: “This has been a tremendous campaign to be involved with. We have been blown away by the amount of people who have viewed the videos and listened to the podcasts. We are really happy to have been a part of this. It opens conversations and lets people know that they are not alone on their journey. Help is available with our 24 helpline, messaging service and website.’’
