Designer goods and cash seized by CAB

Property including designer goods and cash have been seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau in County Cavan and funds in a bank account frozen.

CAB officers conducted a search operation this morning (Thursday), February 16, 2023. They were supported by a North Western Region Detective and uniformed gardaí, the Regional Armed Response Unit and the Customs Dog Unit.

This morning’s operation involved searches at a number of locations and resulted in the seizure of the following :

• €115,000 restrained in a Bank Account

• Three Rolex Watches

• Designer Goods

• Three Canada Goose coats

• Louis Vuitton bags

• €4,480 cash

• Documentation and Devices

The operation forms part of a CAB investigation, initiated following a referral from a Western Region asset profiler, targeting assets, including properties deriving in whole or part from the proceeds of criminal activity.
