Lotto players urged to check their tickets
Lotto players in Cootehill are being urged to check their tickets after Friday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw produced a life-changing top prize win worth €500,000.
The winning Quick Pick ticket was sold on the day of the draw at the popular McMullan’s Daybreak service station on Bridge Street in Cootehill town in north Co. Cavan.
With over 58,000 Irish winners in Friday night’s EuroMillions draw, a spokesperson for the National Lottery has called on all players to check their tickets to see if they are one of the lucky winners: “It has already been an incredible start to the year for our players with three brand new lottery millionaires made in Limerick, Dublin and Kerry in the space of just two weeks.
"We’re asking all of our EuroMillions players, especially in Cavan to check their tickets to see if they are the latest winner of a life-changing lottery prize."
The ticket holder is advised to sign the back of their winning ticket and to keep it safe. The winner should make contact with the National Lottery prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.”
The winning numbers in Friday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw, which are worth €500,000 to one lucky player, are: 07, 08, 26, 27, 37.
There was one winner of the EuroMillions jackpot worth over €68 million and the winning ticket was sold in Switzerland.
