Local Solicitor wins award at Irish Law Awards 2022

Niall Fox, a solicitor in Cavan town won the Sole Practitioner of the year award for the Ulster/Connacht region at the Law Awards which were held in the Aviva Stadium recently.

The awards aim to identify, honour and publicise outstanding achievements by solicitors for their clients across Ireland. Niall was also nominated in two other categories for the criminal lawyer of the year and family lawyer of the year.

Niall, who qualified in 2006 but only set up his own practice in 2019, said he was delighted to get nominated in a number of categories particularly in the areas he specialises in but even more delighted to pick up an award after only three years in business.

He specialises in all kinds of personal injury and medical negligence claims, as well as in criminal defence work advising persons arrested, charged, summonsed or prosecuted at court for offences ranging from driving offences to more serious offences such as burglary and rape.

Niall has become a regular advocate and representative in the district courts throughout Cavan and Monaghan representing his client’s best interests at all times.

Niall has also become a regular feature in local family courts representing clients in custody, access, and matrimonial matters.
