Woman ‘seriously injured’ in Scooter accident
Woman taken to Cavan General Hospital where she “continues to receive treatment”.
A woman “seriously injured” following an accident near Ballyconnell earlier this week “continues to receive treatment” say gardaí, who note that their investigation into the circumstances of what occurred remain “ongoing at this time”.
The N87 was closed to traffic for a period after the road traffic collision close to the Slieve Russell Hotel at approximately 7am on Wednesday, November 2.
“A female who was operating a scooter was seriously injured when she collided with a car,” report gardaí.
The woman was subsequently taken to Cavan General Hospital where she “continues to receive treatment”.
The spokesperson added: “Enquiries are ongoing at this time”.
