Mini-route added to Loop The Lakes

Change of venue for registration

All signs point for Killeshandra as runners and walkers, and everyone in between, make a bee-line for the upcoming ‘Loop The Lakes’.

Now entering its 11th year, a new half-distance route has been added to the event which takes place in the town today, with registration from 10:30am at Killeshandra Community Hall, across from the Loughbawn Hotel, and not as previously stated at Killeshandra GAA Grounds.

This year’s event boasts two separate challenges for participants - the traditional 7km route towards Killykeen and back through the woods under the Cannon’s Hill, and a shorter 3.5km run or walk also.

Once again, and as in the past, ‘Loop the Lakes’ organisers will be use the fabulous day out as an opportunity to try help raise money for two amazing charities - this year being SOSAD Cavan and Pieta House.

The run itself starts 12 noon.
