Three Cavan locations offer COVID-19 vaccinations this week

Dose 1, Dose 2, first and second booster vaccinations will be available in three locations across Cavan this week.

The first clinic will take place at Swanlinbar Health Centre, Swanlinbar, this afternoon (Wednesday, July 27) from 1-4pm. Vaccines available are: Dose 1, Dose 2 and Booster Doses for those aged 12 years and over.

The next vaccination clinic will be held at the Darley Health Centre, Cootehill on Thursday July 28 from 1-4pm. Vaccines available are: Dose 1, Dose 2 and Booster Doses for those aged 12 years and over.

The final clinic this week will be held at Ballinagh Health Centre on Friday July 29. Two separate clinics will be held on the day. The first is from 1-2pm offering Dose 1 and Dose 2 COVID-19 vaccines to those aged 5-11 years. The second is from 2.30-4pm and offers: Dose 1, Dose 2 and Booster Doses for those aged 12 years and over.

Paula Loughran, Operational Manager, Cavan COVID-19 Vaccination Service said “It’s wonderful to see the programme progressing to another phase. While the recommendations are not operational yet, we look forward to implementing them as part of the Autumn Vaccination Programme. We would ask those in eligible cohorts to avail of the their primary or booster vaccinations at our three locations in Cavan this week.”
