Latest pop-up Covid vaccine clinic announced
The HSE says the main Cavan vaccine clinic is closing.
A second pop-up COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic will be held in Bailieborough this weekend.
It will take place at the Courthouse in the town on Saturday (May 28th).
It's the second time a pop-up clinic has been held in Bailieborough.
The HSE announced last week it's to close the county's main vaccine centre in the Hotel Kilmore next month. A series of pop-up clinics will instead be held across Co Cavan.
The clinic in Bailieborough will run from 2pm to 4pm on Saturday afternoon and will offer dose 1, dose 2 and booster vaccinations to those aged 12 years and over.
Cavan CVC Operational Site Manager Eddie Ward said: “This is the second clinic in a series of pop-up clinics that are running over the next month across County Cavan. The clinics are part of a broader County Cavan COVID-19 Vaccination Outreach Programme aimed at making COVID-19 vaccination as easy and as accessible as possible for local communities across County Cavan."
It's understood that over 200 vaccine doses have been given in the past month in clinics held in Shercock, Ballyconnell, Ballyjamesduff and Bailieborough.
The clinic is walk-in, no appointment necessary for all three vaccines.
