Diversions in place for N87 work
Cavan County Council have given notice of a road closure on the N87 Cranaghan to Mullaghduff.
The N87 will be closed between the Townlands of Cranaghan and Mullaghduff up until Friday, August 26 between 9:15am and 6pm for the purpose of road resurfacing.
An alternative route is in place. Traffic from Ballyconnell will be diverted along the R205, B127 (Northern Ireland), A509 (Northern Ireland) and the N3.
Traffic from Belturbet or the N3 (South of Staghall Roundabout) will be diverted along the N3, A509 (Northern Ireland), B127 (Northern Ireland) and the R205.
Local traffic in the area will be accommodated as far as possible.
All temporary emergency and proposed road closures are subject to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Roads Regulation 1994.
